What the Hell is going on?

Is everything happening? Or does nothing ever change?

America's politics of spectacle has exploded into the new year. End of DEI, the removal of addressing race as a facet of any federal holiday, datasets disappearing, etc. The flurry of action creates the facade of action being done, of cutting the viscous thick butter of federal bureaucracy with the hot knife capital driven aggression.

Plenty of news sites report on all the action as if politics are akin to celebrity gossip or a recap of Wrestlemania, bland review of events without analysis or reason. News sites are notorious of using the passive voice, weasel words to obfuscate blame for the events and why these actions are being done. The goal of news is no longer to inform but to entertain. QAnon loves to use the phrase "grab the popcorn and enjoy the fireworks," feeling like they are insiders with knowledge that provide the method behind the madness of the 24-hour news cycle. People are desperate for meaning behind real world events and when the mainstream new outlets fail to provide that meaning, they create the fertile environment for conspiracy theories and other lunacy.

The purpose of this site is to inform readers why these things are happening, where these event are going. Elites think in 2nd order effects: its not the action that they care about, its the reaction of the action that they want. This methodology obfuscates a clearer picture of reality, and the media who are too eager to promote the chaos for advertising dollars. Too often politicians are quoted without context where news organization perform the actions of a PR firm getting the message out of those they are supposed to hold accountable.

There is no such thing as unbiased. This publication exists to advocate for YOU: those that work for a living. Resist billionaire owned media. Billionaires will only tell you what they want you to hear.
